One post for three networks without being lazy
Writing different content for each network is triple the work, and nobody working alone can sustain it. Copy-pasting identically does not solve it either. The middle ground is simpler than it looks.
What stays is the idea
The subject, the argument and the example work on any network. A post about why cakes sink is useful on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. What changes is the form each one expects.
That is why adapting takes minutes and not hours: you are not writing something else, you are serving the same thing on a different plate.
What changes in each
Three differences worth adjusting for.
- Instagram: the first line and the image carry everything.
- TikTok: the first two seconds, and the on-screen text.
- LinkedIn: professional context, and longer paragraphs.
- On all of them: remove what belongs to another. "Link in bio" does not exist on LinkedIn.
The mark of laziness is the leftovers
A TikTok video with the watermark posted to Reels, a caption mentioning "link in bio" on a network with no bio, or thirty hashtags where hashtags do nothing. That is what people notice, not the repeated subject.
Cleaning those leftovers takes two minutes and is the difference between repurposing and dumping.
You do not need to be on three
Being good on one network beats being poor on three. If your customer is on Instagram, LinkedIn is not a priority just because it exists.
The second network comes in when the first already runs itself, not before. Almost every account that opened three at once abandoned all three.
In ReadyMonth the same subject comes out already adapted per network, with what changes in each.
